Community Student Health

Partnering With Public Schools and Community Colleges to Provide Healthcare to Enrolled Students.

Immediate, free medical and behavioral health services provided on campus during the school year for currently enrolled students at Woodland Community College, Cache Creek High School (Yolo County), and Martin Luther King, Jr. High School (Davis).  Confidential individual and group counseling is also available to help students cope with daily life challenges.

Services-include:

  • Basic first aid.
  • Minor illness treatments, such as ear pain, sore throat, cough, colds, sinus problems, headaches, rashes, and urinary tract infections (UTIs). 
  • Family planning services including birth control methods/education, pregnancy tests, and sexually transmitted disease (STD) & HIV testing. 
  • Flu shot & COVID-19 immunizations, when available.
  • Individual counseling services with a Behavioral Health Clinician to support students in coping with life stressors that affect their academic goals and performance (substance use, depression, anxiety, cultural adjustment, eating disorders, gender identity, grief/loss, etc).
