CommuniCare Health Centers offer Outpatient Substance Use Disorder Services in Woodland and West Sacramento for adults and adolescents. We also offer specialized outpatient services for dually diagnosed adults, pregnant and/or parenting mothers, and for individuals who need medication assistance to stop opiate and alcohol use.

Services-include:
Walk-in appointments for substance use services
Monday through Friday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm in West Sacramento and Woodland.
- Access to Medications for Addiction Treatment (including Naltrexone, Vivitrol and Suboxone)
- Screening appointments to enroll in county-funded services
Weekly in-person substance use disorder groups, counseling, and care coordination
Substance use education in English and Spanish
Guidance and support from a Peer Advocate or SUD Navigator with lived experience
Evidence-based treatments for stimulant use (incentives)

Programs for Substance Use Disorder
Prescription medications such as buprenorphine (commonly known as Suboxone), naltrexone (also known as Vivitrol), and other medications are part of treatment options for substance use disorders. We treat multiple substance use disorders (SUDs) including OUD (opioid use disorder), AUD (alcohol use disorder), and StUD (stimulant use disorder).

Youth Opioid Response (YOR) is a free resource for anyone who is struggling with opioid, stimulant or alcohol use disorder and needs extra support. YOR provides drug education, prevention, and intervention services, as well as a connection to housing resources, employment, legal help, and more.
