She was having contractions in quick succession and she knew she was ready to have her baby. She was calm and collected when she told us she needed to push. With one slow, controlled push a baby girl came into the world as our first CommuniCare baby. She was pretty and pink with bright eyes that opened immediately. Our pediatrician Dr. Phillips and Sutter’s Midwife Jessica Nagel were on call at Sutter Davis Hospital to receive and welcome both mom and baby to provide after birth care.
